ANSEMA’s founder and director Andrea Ragazzo, was born and raised in Switzerland to Italian parents, where he lived before moving to Hong Kong in 2003. Mr. Ragazzo worked at engineering & design firms as well as manufacturing companies in the product development field for more than ten years before setting off on his own in 2005. During his career, he has worked with household names such as Procter & Gamble, Glaxo Smith Kline, Reckitt Benckiser, Unilever, Unicharm, Kärcher as well as license holders for Caterpillar and Dockers.

Mr. Ragazzo attended the Art Institute of Bern for two years before doing a draftsman’s apprenticeship while attending the Vocational School of Bern. He also holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University for Applied Science in Bern and an MBA in Innovation and Design from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He is fluent in German, Italian and English.
